All proceeds from the sale of donated books support the East Grand Rapids Library.
The Friends of the EGR Library and Library Manager make decisions on how the funds are spent.
Become an active Friend of the EGR Library by joining us for book sorts, working in the Corner Book Shop, signing up to help set-up or take down our semi-annual sales, work the sales table at the semi-annual sales, contribute to the FOOTNOTES newsletter, join the board!

Through the years
The Friends of the EGR Library established itself in 1958 with the sole intention of bringing a library to East Grand Rapids.
Our first location opened in February 1959 and it has been the heart of our community since then!

We hold two major book sales per year in May and November. Visit our Corner Book Shop during library hours. Check out our Ebay shop for antiquarian, collectible, coffee table, first editions and a wonderful collection for all ages

Types of accepted donations:
We currently accept books, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs.
Types of donations that are discouraged:
We do not sell damaged items, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, or magazines (except for older, collectible issues).
Simply drive your car to the EGR Library's north driveway - lower level by EGR Parks & Rec door.
Be sure to ask for a receipt if you’d like one for tax purposes.
