On May 21, 2026 the Friends held a ribbon cutting for our new mural in the children's area entitled Water for Everyone. It was painted by muralist Rhiannan Sibbald and represents the wildlife and activities that children would likely see in and around Reeds Lake. Rhiannan noted that in doing her research for the mural at Reeds Lake, she realized the lake is for everyone, just like the library is for everyone.

Our Spring Used Book Sale over the weekend of March 27-29 was a great success. We want to thank all of our volunteers, as well as Trader Joe's, for their generosity in providing bags.

The Friends Board of Directors has contracted with muralist Rhiannan Sibbald to create a new mural in the children's area. You can see a sample of Rhiannan's work here:
